Yas is a combination birth control pill that contains Drospirenone and Ethinyl estradiol.
It works to suppress ovulation by stopping the release of androgen hormones. This way, the fertilization of the sperm and the egg is not possible. It also makes vaginal fluid thicker to further prevent sperm from reaching the egg.
Most women can take Yas HOWEVER
Yas is NOT suitable for:
- People who have had an allergic reaction to Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol
- People that have recently had a stroke or a heart attack
- People that have had liver disease
- People that have high blood pressure
- People that have kidney failure, migraine with aura, disorder affecting blood clotting
-People that have any history of a blood clot
- People who are pregnant
- People who are over 35 and smoke
Take one pill daily at the same time. Take the 21 active tablets first and take the 7 sugar pills to help you keep remembering.
*If your forget to take your birth control, take it as soon as you remember. If you don't remember until the next day, take two pills on that day.
